Hamaari Sada Trust celebrated the 79th Independence Day with the enthusiastic students of its Rising Skill Development Centre, Madanpur Khadar Extension.

On this occasion, the founder of Hamaari Sada Trust, Mohd. Irshad Alam, invited senior TV journalist and social worker Dr. M. Atharuddin Munne Bharti as the special guest to join the celebrations.

The program began with flag hoisting and the National Anthem, “Jana Gana Mana.” Students made the day even more special with their wonderful performances. They presented dramas, delivered speeches, and recited slogans remembering our great freedom fighters such as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Dr. Zakir Hussain, Bhagat Singh, and many others.

A group of 15 students performed a drama on Shaheed Bhagat Singh, which received a big round of applause.

Muskan (Class 9th) anchored the program for the first time and did an excellent job. Anam (Class 9th) sang a patriotic song on Azadi and Zoya (Class 8th) spoke on Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Shaan (Class 8th) gave a speech on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Hifza (Class 9th) remembered Dr. Zakir Hussain and Nazia (Class 10th) spoke about Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

Afshin, Ummed Habeeba, Richa, and Arsin (Centre 4 students) took part in a panel discussion on India’s achievements in English. These students had only recently joined the Spoken English course, yet confidently participated in the celebration and performed very well.

Insha Kulsum and Zoha Fatima also sang a beautiful patriotic song and many other students also shared their thoughts and paid tribute to India’s heroes.

During the program, Hamaari Sada Trust launched its Annual Report 2024-25. A special moment was when Mamta, a student who had once dropped out of school, was invited on stage along with Amrjit Singh (Class 5th student), Guest Dr. M. Atharuddin Munne Bharti, and Trustees Said Ahmad and Safia Yasmeen. This highlighted the Trust’s efforts to bring back dropout children into education and motivate them to continue learning.

In his address, Dr. M. Atharuddin Munne Bharti encouraged students to focus on education, saying:

“Education is the only path to achieve your dreams. If you want to become an IAS officer, you must stay committed to your studies. Hamaari Sada Trust and its Founder, Mohd. Irshad Alam, are working honestly for your future. Make the best use of this opportunity.”

He also shared an inspiring story of a child who, despite financial struggles, received support for his education and later became an IAS officer. He urged students and parents to take an oath never to leave education and to always help others in need, in honor of India’s martyrs.

Founder Mohd. Irshad Alam thanked Dr. M. Atharuddin Munne Bharti for sparing his valuable time and motivating the students.

Nearly 96 people attended the event. Trustees Said Ahmad, Safia Yasmeen, and Tarannum Khursheed also congratulated and encouraged the students on this Independence Day.

 

At the end of the celebration, biscuits and toffees were distributed among the students, bringing smiles to their faces and adding joy to the occasion.
