Hamaari Sada Trust, which has been working in the Madanpur Khadar area since 2022, organised a Youth Career Planning Meet on 3rd August 2025 at its Rising Skill Development Centre (RSDC). The session aimed to understand the aspirations and professional goals of students from Class 10th to graduation level. The initiative was part of the Trust’s continuous efforts to build an informed and goal-oriented youth community in the locality.
In the days leading up to the event, volunteers and team members of Hamaari Sada Trust reached out to over 100 students through field visits and personal engagement. Their efforts culminated in the participation of 22 enthusiastic students who joined the session to share their dreams, confusions, and aspirations about their future careers.
The session was led by Mohd. Irshad Alam, Founder of Hamaari Sada Trust, who welcomed the students and appreciated their seriousness in attending the meet on a Sunday. During the interaction, many students introduced themselves and openly shared their career goals. However, it became evident that several students were struggling with clarity. Some expressed dual interests—like wanting to become both a teacher and a lawyer—while others aimed for ambitious paths such as civil services or medicine but lacked structured guidance and study plans.
Mr. Irshad Alam patiently listened to each student and addressed their individual doubts. He emphasised the importance of having a clear direction, identifying the right resources, and maintaining focus in the face of distractions. He assured them that the Trust would continue supporting their academic journeys.
This meeting served as a follow-up to the Career Counselling Session held earlier on 31st May 2025, with the aim of providing personalised support to newly enrolled students. The Youth Career Planning Meet was designed to further empower young minds by helping them clarify their goals and take confident steps toward their professional futures.
The Trust is also planning future sessions where students will be connected with experienced career counsellors and domain experts for one-on-one mentoring and academic guidance.
The event would not have been successful without the efforts of volunteers Nazia and Muskan, along with dedicated staff members of the Trust, who motivated students to participate and ensured smooth coordination.
