The programme began with a welcome address by Hamaari Sada Trust Founder, Mohd. Irshad Alam. He encouraged the students to come forward without hesitation and share their thoughts on the stage.

Students Speak on Different Topics

Students were given different topics in advance and were encouraged to prepare throughout the week. During the programme, they presented their speeches on topics including Police Officer, Honesty, Learning is a Journey, Teamwork, Helping Others, Dream and Healthy Life, and The Power of Kindness.

Some students presented their topics with confidence, while others were still developing their stage skills. A few students became nervous while speaking and their voices shook. However, instead of making fun of them, the other students encouraged them with applause and supportive words.

The support from their fellow students helped the participants overcome their hesitation. Some students who initially struggled on stage tried again and successfully completed their speeches.

Students Share Their Ideas

Among the students who presented their thoughts were:

Shariq — Police Officer
Yaseen — Learning is a Journey
Ayesha — Good Values
Aditi — Helping Others
Yasmeen — Dream and Healthy Life
Hiba — The Power of Kindness

Shoaib, Mohammad Bilal, Pari, Anjali, Zainul, Sahil and several other students also participated enthusiastically in the activity.

He explained that public speaking is an important part of the Media Orientation Programme. Such activities help students improve their communication skills, overcome stage fear and become more confident in expressing their thoughts.

He encouraged the students not to be afraid of making mistakes and to keep practising. He said that being perfect on the first attempt is not important. What matters is having the courage to stand up, speak and try again. With regular practice, students can become confident communicators and develop the ability to express themselves effectively.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

The Speech Activity was not only about public speaking. It also gave students an opportunity to learn from their mistakes, support their classmates and understand the importance of encouragement.
